Password listTo control password mappings between SW-Lookup® and the GIS, the file swldispatcher.pwd is provided. The default version looks like this: SWL-Dispatcher/2.0/user-password-mapping # To enable security, change line "security=yes" in the preferences file # and put lines in the format: # user,password=gis-user,gis-password # here. This allows to separate gis-based user information # from the user/password information used on the intranet/internet level. # please make sure that the user is used only once, while gis-user may appear # multiple times. # It is valid to use the wildcard "*" for the password in order to # pass it through. *,*=*,* %end% This standard version leads to transparent pass-through of username and password to the GIS, so access to SW-Lookup® needs the same username and password as defined in the Smallworld® authorisation. If you wish another handling, you may supply information in this file. For instance, you might wish to have several SW-Lookup® users map to a single GIS user in order so simplify the GIS authorisation entries. If you store passwords here, be careful to hide the file from ordinary users. |
