Password list

To control password mappings between SW-Lookup® and the GIS, the file swldispatcher.pwd is provided. The default version looks like this:

This standard version leads to transparent pass-through of username and password to the GIS, so access to SW-Lookup® needs the same username and password as defined in the Smallworld® authorisation.

If you wish another handling, you may supply information in this file. For instance, you might wish to have several SW-Lookup® users map to a single GIS user in order so simplify the GIS authorisation entries.

If you store passwords here, be careful to hide the file from ordinary users.
